Beyond judgments. Towards solutions

The 2020 CPR European Conference on Business Dispute Management is organized by CPR and its European Advisory Board (EAB) in collaboration with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR).

The overall theme of this year’s conference is “Learning and Adapting in a VUCA World."
Panels will include topics such as dispute prevention, learning from disputes, the digitalization of disputes and non-financial settlements.

Conference participants will include an outstanding group of in-house counsel, leading practitioners, academics and jurists, as well as international arbitrators and mediators. For information about last year’s CPR European Conference on Business Dispute Management, click here.

This year, the Conference is co-chaired by Alexander Oddy (Herbert Smith Freehills), Noradèle Radjai (LALIVE) and Kevin Smith (Shell International).

The keynote speaker for this year's conference will be Dr. Mimi Zou, co-founder of the Oxford University Deep Tech Dispute Resolution Lab, which aims to build an internationally leading hub of interdisciplinary and multi-stakeholder research cooperation on the study of deep technologies in dispute resolution.
